1. Our role and service scope
1688buyer helps customers source and purchase goods from suppliers and sellers on 1688 and may support related steps such as payment coordination by agreement, inspection, shipping, and order support. Unless a quote or separate agreement says otherwise, 1688buyer provides purchasing assistance; the supplier or seller is the seller of the goods.
Supplier listings, images, stock, prices, and descriptions may change or contain differences. A product listing is not a confirmation of availability or a commitment by the supplier. We will inform you of material changes identified while handling an order.
2. Accounts and customer information
You must provide a valid phone number to receive OTP codes, keep your sign-in details secure, and are responsible for activity performed through your account. Keep your contact, recipient, and delivery address details accurate. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use.
You confirm that you have legal capacity to use the services. If you order for an organization or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and to provide the necessary information.
3. Quotes, orders, and confirmation
Product prices, exchange rates, purchasing service fees, shipping, optional services, taxes, and other applicable charges are determined by the quote or order information at the time of processing. Source listing prices and currency conversions may be estimates; the amount and service scope confirmed by 1688buyer for an order govern its processing.
Your order request is a request to use our services. Processing begins after 1688buyer confirms the necessary details, such as product/SKU, quantity, price, fees, and payment method. If a supplier is out of stock, changes a price, or cannot meet a request, we will discuss an adjustment, await your confirmation, or return the related amount based on the transaction status and applicable rules.
4. Payments, account balance, and records
Pay the amount by the deadline and using the instructions provided for each order. Do not transfer funds in response to requests outside the official channels published by 1688buyer. Amounts recorded as a customer account balance are transaction records used within the service; they are not, by themselves, a bank deposit or a licensed payment account.
Fees, exchange rates, deposit or withdrawal conditions, and refund accounting follow the information displayed, the order agreement, and applicable law. Keep order IDs, payment notices, and related correspondence for reconciliation.
5. Delivery, import, and customer responsibilities
Delivery times are estimates and may change due to suppliers, carriers, customs checks, weather, or events reasonably beyond our control. You must provide accurate delivery details, cooperate in receiving goods, and check legal requirements for importing, using, or reselling goods at the destination.
1688buyer may refuse or pause goods that are prohibited, restricted, unsafe, or cannot lawfully be shipped. Costs, delivery options, and each party’s responsibilities will be explained for the relevant case and handled under applicable law.
6. Cancellations, refunds, and complaints
Whether an order can be cancelled, exchanged, returned, or refunded depends on its purchasing status, the supplier’s rules, the shipping stage, and applicable law. If goods are missing, incorrect, or defective, send details and evidence through a support channel promptly. The Returns & Complaints Rules describe the detailed process and filing window. These terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights.
7. Website use and intellectual property
You may not use the website for fraud, unauthorized access, service disruption, unlawful content, or infringement of another person’s rights. The interface, content, and software owned or licensed by 1688buyer are protected by law. Using the website does not transfer intellectual property rights to you.
8. Updates and contact
1688buyer may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. The revised version and update date will appear on this page and apply to service use after that date; confirmed transactions remain subject to their agreement and applicable law.
